Absolutely!! We encourage all players to go out for as many sports
as they want. During the school year we only run one session a week,
except before a tournament when we often go to two sessions a week. A number of players within the club play several
other sports throughout the year.
Have any of the NWIFC previous players played at the college level? (Click For Answer)
Over the last 2
years, the NWIFC is pleased to have helped no fewer than 10 players who
have gone on to play soccer at college; 8 of which received
scholarships.
How can you be sure you have the best coaches? (Click For Answer)
Our coaching
director currently holds a USSF ‘B’ license, won the 2009 High School
State Championship ,was awarded 2009 Coach of the Year for the state of
Iowa and is a finalist for the 2009 National Coach of the Year award. He
currently overseas every coach and gets to know every player in the
club personally. Our staff coaches consist of 2 college assistant
coaches, a ex- college player and a former high school coach. We truly
have the best staff available in NW Iowa.
How long does the program run for? (Click For Answer)
The program runs
for 10 months of the year- January-October.
How many tournaments will the teams go to? (Click For Answer)
This
depends on the age group. Most teams go to between 4 and 6 tournaments
through out the year. Team will also compete in the IPSL (Iowa Premier
Soccer League) during the fall season.

Every year the NWIFC
holds a tryout in the month of June. Every player currently playing in
the club and every player interested in joining is required to attend.
This is NOT a commitment to join, but an opportunity to see what it all
about, meet the coaching staff and ask questions. Just for turning up,
we’ll even give you a free t-shirt.

You have a talented soccer
player and we would like to offer them the chance to join North West
Iowa’s Premier Soccer Club – the NWIFC.
What does it cost to join? (Click For Answer)
The cost depends on
the team, but an estimate is $35 a month for 9/10 months weather
dependant. The player would also be responsible for purchasing a
uniform, tournament fees, travel/lodging expenses. As a non-profit club,
all expenses are passed on to the players/families.
What is the NWIFC? (Click For Answer)
NWIFC is a non-profit competitive soccer club that has been formed for players who need more than recreational soccer and want to take their game to the next level. Every player needs a stable, but competitive environment in which to develop. At NWIFC we offer an age based curriculum that brings every kids ability to fruition.
Whats the club experience? (Click For Answer)
By joining NWIF C
you’re joining a big family. Although soccer is the focus, it’s a truly
cultural experience. The kids and parents travel
together to different tournaments, meeting different people from
different back grounds. Over the last 2 years , the NWIFC have played
against teams from Australia, Brazil, England, Columbia and Canada. From
exchanging pins at the USA cup to holding team swim nights, nothing is
quite like it.

the best coaches to run their teams. Every coach is professionally
qualified, has been state authorized, has previous playing experience
and is very passionate about the game and giving the best club
experience possible.
Will my son/daughter still be able to play recreational soccer? (Click For Answer)
We
highly encourage our players to participate in recreational soccer
throughout the year. The recreational program will help the player get
more touches on the ball and continue to develop their game.
